ユーザを意図的に企業の利益となる行動へ誘導する欺まん的なデザインとして知られるダークパターンは，近年国内でも問題として広く取り上げられるようになり， その関心が高まっている．ダークパターンによる不利益は時間や金銭の浪費などが主に挙げられるが，本研究ではダークパターンを回避することによって生じるユーザビリティ上の不利益に注目する．ダークパターンを含むWebページを用いたユーザビリティ調査を通して，ダークパターン回避にかかるコストが企業への信頼を損なうリスク要因となり得る可能性について議論する．

Dark patterns, known as deceptive designs that intentionally induce users to act in a way that benefits the company, have been widely discussed as a problem in Japan in recent years, and interest in them is growing. The main disadvantages of dark patterns include the waste of time and money, but this study focuses on the usability disadvantages caused by avoiding dark patterns. Through a usability study using Web pages containing dark patterns, we discuss the possibility that the cost of avoiding dark patterns may be a risk factor that undermines trust in a company.
