Abstract
The Purpose of This Study Is to Examine the Educational Usefulness of the Digital Teaching Materials Available on Teach U, a Website for Distributing Digital Teaching Materials for Education of the Mentally Retarded. First, We Conducted a Follow-up Survey of Teach U Users. The Results Showed That the Following Reasons Were Given for Using Teach U’s Digital Teaching Materials in the Classroom: 1) They Promote Students’ Spontaneity, 2) They Promote Students’ Understanding, 3) Teachers Can Actively Use Them, 4) Teachers Can Customize Them, and 5) They Are Easy to Use Teaching Materials. The Advantages for Students Are as Follows: 1) the Concepts of the Study Contents Are Visualized by Animation, Etc., Making Them Easy to Understand; 2) Students Can Learn Independently and Enjoyably Through Game Elements and QuizForm ats; 3) Customized Teaching Materials Enable Students to Learn Contents at the Appropriate Stage of Learning.
