COVID-19 has been spreading since 2020. The importance of ventilation has increased dramatically because droplet and aerosol infections have been attracting attention as a route of infection indoors. Indoor ventilation is a challenge, especially in enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces. Therefore, this study will focus on the local ventilation system and aerosol ventilation properties in the toilet space, which is a semi-enclosed space in a room. In the study, CFD analysis (numerical analysis) and actual measurements were used for the study. The CFD analysis will examine the location of the ventilation outlets in the large urinal booths and the ventilation methods of the local ventilation system, and aerosols for odor, exhalation, and cough and droplet will be used to compare the results. Odor and exhaled air were examined by pollutant removal efficiency of ventilation efficiency index, and aerosols were examined by CFD to reproduce their behavior and by particle size and number of particles exhausted. In the actual measurements, ventilation properties were examined in an actual restroom space using tracer particles at different locations of generation.
