[要旨] 本論文において、われわれは「彼はロボットだ」という表現を語用論的・意味論的な観点から哲学的に分析することを試みることで、他我問題に対する新しい取り組み方を提示する。本論文では、「彼はロボットだ」という言明の用法や、「彼」という代名詞の用いられ方の歴史的・文化的変遷、あるいは「彼はロボットだ」と言うことによってわれわれが何かを「彼」で指示される対象に帰属するのか否か、といった問いが議論される。

[Abstract] In this paper, we present a new approach to the other-minds problem by analysing the expression “He is a robot” philosophically from pragmatic and semantic perspectives. This paper discusses the various usages of that expression, historical and cultural changes of the uses of the pronoun “he”, and whether we attribute something to the object refered by “he” on saying “He is a robot”.
