Description

The length of the Y chromosome was measured and compared with the mean length of the group D, F, Fq and G chromosome (Y/D, Y/F, Y/Fq, Y/G ratio). These chromosomes were taken from a total of 210 cells of 34 individuals. / (1) There was observed no significant difference in the length of the Y chromosome within the individual. / (2) There were some variations in the length of the Y chromosome among different individuals. / (3) There was no variation in the length of the Y chromosome between a father and his son. / (4) The Y/D ratio was more suitable among the four ratios as described above for comparison of different cells.
