Hitherto, in the field of Japan-Korea contrastive linguistics study, mainly the study of grammar and syntax has been conducted. As a pioneer, Dr. Im Pal-yong (林八龍) has developed the new study domain in the research field of language expression. This paper took up the Korean declinable word sentences that approximately correspond to the Japanese substantive word sentences. The analysis based on linguistic data found the structural pattern that the Japanese substantive word sentence tends to take a form of a declinable word sentence in Korean language. The adnominal form which a noun modifies a noun and a noun that changeable to SA-row verb, are the characteristic examples of the Japanese nominal representation. A questionnaire survey showed that most Japanese tend to use the substantive word sentence. However, it is necessary to point out that the Korean expression does not necessarily take the declinable word form. The research showed us a sign of a fluctuation of word usage in Korean language. The expansion of database based on the current language situation would help to promote the study.
