University students' attitudes toward chasing dream type, aimless type,and unwilling type part-time workers

本研究の目的は、大学生が3タイプのフリーター(夢見型、無目的型、不本意型)に対して、どのような態度を持っているかを検討することであった。フリーターとは、「15～34 歳の若年(ただし、学生と主婦を除く)のうち、パート・アルバイト(派遣等を含む)及び働く意志のある無職の人」である。調査対象者は159名の大学生であり、質問紙で3タイプのフリーターへの態度を測定した。分散分析の結果、大学生は夢追い型フリーターに対して、最もポジティブな印象を持っており、無目的型フリーターに対して最もネガティブな印象を持っていることが明らかとなった。

The purpose of this study was to explore the attitudes of university student for three types of freeters (chasing dream type, aimless type, and unwilling type). Freeter refers to people between the age of 15 and 34 who lack full time employment or are unemployed, except students and housewives. One hundred and fifty-nine university students answered a questionnaire about attitudes for each type of freeters. The results of ANOVA showed that chasing dream type was evaluated positively, and aimless type was evaluated negatively.
