Abstract
This study focuses on referendum which has been considered as a final means of collective decision-making. A possibility of referendum as a communication tool for decision support is considered referring to Yoshinogawa Weir Reconstruction problem where referendum was conducted in 2000 to ask local residents whether it should be reconstructed or not. Extensive form game model is used to model the problem, and a system is examined to inspire new possibility to referendum.
