<Synopsis>A total of 380 mollusk species were identified from a survey of the marine malacofauna of Kagawa Prefecture conducted from 2009 to 2013. The surveyed area abound in many endangered species of malacofauna and is inhabited by diverse malacofauna residing in different marine coastal habitats. We also found ecological disturbances such as non-native species which could have survived due to the recent increased seawater temperature. An additional basic survey is needed to obtain further information that could help in conserving the possible endangered species and prevent further non-native species intrusion.
