Description

The purpose of this study was to clarify the recognition and concrete approach of middle leader teachers for building a collegiality in special needs schools. We conducted an interview survey on eight teachers who have served as division chiefs for special needs schools at physical disability. The results show that they have recognized of importance for building a collegiality as a condition that they must address to achieve their duties. And they are working on the creation of opportunities the setting of groups and the change and adjustment of rules. On the other hand it is inferred that their encouragement are individual efforts without the consent of the school organization. For that reason they have recognized that there is a limit to building collegiality which supports the school organization only from their own standpoint. Therefore it was suggested that it is important to work as a school organization from discussing within the school about the creation of colleagues and planning setting opportunities for teachers to participate cross-cuttingly.
