Description
The drift turn experiment of the influence of the difference of the steering wheel gear ratio was done by using driving simulator, and the following conclusions were obtained. At the time of running which uses the tire grip area, it is easy to control the steering wheel gear ratio (15.0~18.0) in a usual vehicle. On the other hand, when the rear wheel tire fell into the drift area, it was assumed to be clear to be able to make the vehicle easy to control by controlling the steering wheel gear ratio (7.5~9.0) even when the vehicle became unstable.
