This paper proposes one way of analyzing and evaluating sightseeing information based on portal sites among various regions. First, we define specific items to characterize sightseeing information. Second, using Hayashi's quantification methods III, we evaluate the sightseeing information power from each city, town and village in Yamagata. Finally,we can make the conclusion that Takahata-town and Yonezawa-city each have excellent sightseeing portal sites.
