In this article, using a new nonlinear mapping called demimetric, we prove weak and strong convergence theorenus for findinng a commou element of the set of commou fixed pomints of a fimite family of such new demimetnic mappings and the set of common solutions of variational inequality problems for a finite family of inverse strongly monotone mappings in a Hilbert space. Using the results, we obtain well-known and new strong convergence theorems in a Hilbert space.
