In this paper, I clarify the reasons for the existence of economic police in Japan during the war, and clarify the regulatory policy and enforcement status. Focused on the fact that the economic police founded to secure economic control in the wartime period was not dismantled even after the end of the war. I analyzed the actual situation of Japan at the time when the economic police was in charge of crackdown on economic crime related to postwar economic control.
