東北大学自然科学総合実験の安全教育のために作成した安全教育デジタル教材について、学生の安全意識を向上する効果の有無について評価するとともに、安全教育を改善することを目的としてアンケート調査を実施した。安全に対する既有知識や失敗経験の有無によって危険予知や安全意識に異なる傾向があると考えられるが、アンケート調査の結果、実験中に事故を経験したことがある学生グループと事故を経験したことがない学生グループの間で、本教材全体の有効性に関する評価に際立った差異はみられなかったことから、学習者の履歴にかかわらず有効な教材であることが示された。また、本教材に含まれる学習項目の個々について学生の印象を調査した結果では、事故経験のない学生グループのほうがリスクに対する高い感知を示すケースがあることが示された。

We developed a new educational video material for ensuring safety of students enrolled in a preliminary experimental class of natural science in Tohoku University, and conducted a questionnaire survey to asses the effectiveness of the educational video material and to improve the safety education. Although it was supposed that students' experience of accidents and/or history of safety education in the past should affect their attitudes toward the safety, there was no difference in the evaluation of the educational video material between the group of students who had experience of accidents and the group of students who didn't have experience of accident in the past. This result indicates that the educational video material had effects in enhancing the safety consciousness of the students regardless of their personal history. Furthermore, we investigated students' impression on the details of the educational video materials. It was indicated that there is a tendency that the students who didn't have experience of accidents have higher risk cognition characteristics.
