Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate and clarify the trend of living activities in the public rooms in the plan type of LDK+F ("L", "D", "K" and "F" are living room, dining room, kitchen room and family room for short respectively), through the ratio of the area of each public room, the coupling pattern with public rooms and the location of room in the house. Following results are obtained: (1) The space of F gives an influence to living activities greatly. (2) The living activities of D change by the coupling pattern with D and other public rooms. The location of D in the house affects living activities. (3) How the three public rooms to be utilized most efficiently in the plan type of LDK+F is when the area of them in total is under than sixty square meters, when the area of F is more than ten square meters, when the each area of three public rooms is almost equal, when L and F is semi-separated each other, and when L and D are located rather at south-side.
