Two specimens of the salmonid fish Salvelinus leucomaenis (PALLAS) were collected with angling at the upstream of the Sakanai River,Mie Prefecture. We described here these specimens as a record of the species from natural stream of Mie Prefecture although these specimens may be introduced from neighboring areas.

三重県阪内川上流域から釣によって2個体のイワナが 採集され，これらの標本を三重県天然河川からの記録と して記載した。しかし，これらは近隣水系から移植され たものである可能性が高かった。
