説明

The shale gas revolution caused in the United States is changing the world situation of natural resources. So far it has seemed to be impossible to produce shale gas and shale oil at the reasonable cost from the traditional view of petroleum engineering. However, the middle sized and challenging oil companies in the United State have succeeded in producing shale gas at the low cost by using conventional horizontal well and fracturing. The shale gas revolution has the great possibility of changing the world power balance and the rebirth of the economy of the United States and Japan including the petrochemical.
