The purpose of this paper is to analyze the system of confluent hypergeometric partial differential equations satisfied by Φ_2 in P^1(C)×P^1(C) from the view point of Gevrey asymptotic analysis and κ-summability. This system possesses the singular loci x=0, y=0, x=y of regular type and x=∞, y=∞ of irregular type. We treat it, near the irregular singularity x=∞ or y=∞ except (x, y)=(∞, ∞).
