Description
The factors that influence the social skills of schizophrenic patients were examined according to the intelligence function using the Brief Assessment of Cognition in Schizophrenia, Japanese version (BACSJ), the Japanese Adult Reading Test (JART) and the Life Assessment Scale for Mental Illness (LASMI) to determine which factors most strongly influence the rehabilitation of these patients. The fluid intelligence was shown to more strongly influence the social skill than the crystallized intelligence. In addition, the participation of the fluid intelligence was considered to be strong, specifically regarding the social skills related to the activities of daily living.
