抄録

本稿の目的は，開かれた学校づくりにおけるシティズンシップ教育の意義について考察 していくことである．シティズンシップ教育は近年，生徒が将来，市民としての十分な役 割を果たせるようにするために学校教育などで導入されており，代表的な取り組みとして ボランティア活動等の体験活動がある．秋田県立秋田西高等学校と秋田県立湯沢翔北高等 学校の二つの学校において，生徒会・クラブ活動に取り組んでいる生徒に焦点を当て，そ れらの活動に関する調査を行った．生徒は生徒会・クラブ活動を通して，コミュニケーショ ン能力，問題解決能力，責任感等の社会で必要な能力を獲得していた．

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the significance of the citizenship education in term of schools open to the community. The citizenship education is introduced by school education to let the students play a role as a citizen in the future. For example, the activity such as a volunteer job is included in it. 　This time, the author focused on the students who joined the student council or the club activity in Akita Nishi high school and Yuzawa Shouhoku high school and surveyed what they learned from the student council or the club activity. The students acquired the ability needed as a society member such as communication skill, problem solving powers, responsibility.
