In recent years, construction companies around the world are increasingly pursuing international projects. This article discusses overseas activities of Japanese construction companies, mainly focusing on infrastructure projects while comparing with business activity of Chinese contractors. The article shows some examples of foreign projects contracted by Japanese companies and the key points to the success of overseas projects. The last part of this article introduces our grassroots project to help local people in developing countries to repair roads through Donou method.
