Description

Attemps have been made to apply a vacuum transistor to a rectification circuit at medium frequencies. A carrier singal with the frequency between 500 kHz and 5 MHz were amplitude modulated by a audio signal with the frequencies between 500 Hz and 2 kHz, and the modulated signal was rectified by a circuit with a vacuum transistor. As a result, it was found that the signal with the frequency below 2 MHz was rectified similarly, although that with the frequency of 5 MHz was distorted.
