Description

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the total economic value of the redundancy for road network. For the improvement of the reliability on the road network, we combine contingent valuation method (CVM) with payment of insurance. We estimated the reｌiabiｌity value of the substitute traffic due to volcanic disaster of Mt. Usu in Hokkaido, aod made clear the availability of the CVM using payment of insurance by the review paper.
