起業率をいかに高めるかという課題は多方面から注目を集めている。起業プロセスについての既存研究は、ビジネスプランに含むべき内容、起業の動機に着目するものが多かった。しかしそれらの要因と起業の実現の関係は未だ明らかではない。本研究では2004年と2006年に横浜市で実施したアンケー卜調査に基づいて、起業の実現には「起業年齢」を意識すること、つまり起業をいつまでに実現するのかという目標を年齢で設定することが重要な要因となるという仮説を得た。\\nBased on two surveys conducted in Yokohama, Japan, we have identified two relationship between age and entrepreneuship: age consciousness has a positive effect on the entrepreneurial process, and (2) entrepreneure favor ages evenly divisive by five (e.g. 30, 35, 40) when deciding to start up a business. Emphasizing the positive effects on "age consciousness" in entrepreneurship education seminars held by regional governments may contribute to an increase in the rote of successful startups among new business.
