Description
What is emphasized in pronunciating words in Chinese is different from that in Japanese.Chinese emphasizes the contrast between aspirated sounds and unaspirated ones, while Japanese emphasized the contrast between voiced sounds and unvoiced sounds. To understand such different and to have a clear grasp of the differences as well as the common features of the pronunciation in both languages are most important in learning Chinese.
