We have preliminarily attempted to measure a coincidence spectrum of an energy-loss-electron(EL-electron) and a Auger-electron. To our knowledge, this approach of having applied the Auger-electron El-electron coincidence spectroscopy(ALECS) to the solid-state physics in the first attempt in the world. It is observed that the measured wieght in reflected electron-energy-loss-spectroscopy(EELS) spectra of C core-levels is shifted to the higher loss-energy side than in the existing transmitted EELS spectra. It is implied that this energy shift is derived from the invalidity of the dipole approximation, in reflected EELS accompanied by al large momentum transfer. ALECS spectrum associated with the C ls excitation has been measured, but no effective structure has been observed in it. The possible candidates for solving this problem are proposed.
