本研究は、大阪府S市S幼稚園において、筆者と園との協力体制のもとで行われた「子どもの即興表現を生かした劇遊び活動プロジェクト」の中で見られた子どもの様子を「協同的な学び」に着目して分析し、プロジェクトの有効性を探ると同時に、今後の幼稚園における領域「表現」の活動に必要な方法と実践を考察することが目的である。分析の結果、プロジェクトの事前指導における参加型の音楽活動や絵本の読み聞かせを中心としたアプローチにより、子ども達に協同の姿勢が培われ、その姿勢をプロジェクト内で行われる表現活動で生かすことによって、協同的な学びが無理なく自然に育まれることが明らかになった。同時に、子ども達自身が、協力することによって得られるものを発見し、自然に協同的な学びにつなげていくような実践が、領域「表現」の活動に必要であることがわかった。

The aim of the study is to analyze `cooperative learning', observed in a `play performing activity project that encourages children's spontaneous self-expression', conducted by the author in cooperation with `S' kindergarten in `S' city, Osaka. The present study also aims to investigate the effectiveness of the project as well as to consider the necessary method and practice for a future `self-expression' area of activities in kindergartens. As a result of the analysis, it was elucidated that a cooperative attitude among the children was nurtured by the pre-project activities, such as participatory music activity and read-aloud book sessions, and that, by encouraging that attitude in the self-expression activity within the project, cooperative learning would spontaneously be generated. It was also elucidated that practice, in which children discover something by cooperating together, that in turn makes them cooperate naturally to achieve cooperative learning, is necessary in the area of `self-expression'.
