抄録

This part points out the dwelling unit plan that is included in the standard floor of large-scale multistory apartment buildings and analyzes it from the viewpoint of time-line to reveal its characteristics. The main conclusions are as follows. 1. At all times since the 1980s the standard floor interior area of large-scale multistory apartment buildings in Taipei City has risen. 2. The public and private sector have in common that according to expansion of interior area the numbers of private rooms have also increased. Particularly in the 1990s following partitions are characteristic : 49~64m^2 for 2 rooms, 65m^2 for 3 rooms and 98m^2 for 4 rooms. 3. In general the number of bath units tends to increase: in the 1990s the public has particularly "1.5 units" and the private "2 units". 4. In the 1980s the balcony facility becomes standard for multistory apartment buildings. Moreover, apartments with more than one balcony are in a large number.
