抄録

インターネットは，近年急速に普及してきた．この普及とともに，ユーザのインターネットの利用目的が多様化してきた．一方，プロバイダなどから提供される通信回線の品質も多様化し，ユーザがその通信回線を選択できるような環境が整いつつある．そこで我々は，通信品質を選択する方法の1つとして，ユーザが利用目的に応じて通信経路を能動的に選択する方法を提案する．我々はこの経路選択の方法を，次世代インターネットプロトコルであるIPv6（InternetProtocol version 6）の拡張ヘッダであるルーティングヘッダを用いることにより実現し，FTPにこのルーティングヘッダを使用するための機能を実装して検証を行った．また経路選択の支援を目的として，ユーザにそれぞれの経路の品質情報を提供することで，経路選択を支援する``品質選択支援システム''の試作を行った．本稿では，この経路選択アプリケーションの実現とその検証，および品質選択支援システムの概要について述べる．

People's purposes to using the Internet are spreading with the growthand the expansion of the Internet. And their requirements to linequalities such as bandwidth, security levels and so on arediversifying with the advance. On the other hand, lines with variousqualities will be provided by ISP in near future, so users can chooseline qualities according their purposes. The function of pathselection, therefore, is required in such environment. We propose afunction of active selection of the path to the destination by users.We implemented the function into the FTP application by using therouting header defined in IPv6 specifications. We also developed the``Support system for quality selection'', which supports the selectionby providing information on each path, experimentally. This paperdescribes details of the function and an implementation of theapplication. We also describe the ``Support system for qualityselection'' briefly.
