与えられたバッチ・ジョブ群を複数計算機で処理し これら計算機をほとんど同時停止させるためのジョブ・スケジューリングの1手法を提案した.この手法はラウンド・ロピン法にもとづくもので ジョブが起動されるごとにジョブ多重度が決定される.各ジョブの演算装置時間 入出力回数は既知と仮定されている.この手法による予測計算結果はシミュレーション・プログラムによるものと比較的よい一致を示す.
