生体認証は，本人性そのものを認証できる，パスワードなどを記憶する負荷がない，認証用トークンなどを所持するわずらわしさがないなど，他の認証技術と比較して多くの長所を持つ．しかしながら，生体認証に使用される生体情報は一般的に容易に漏洩するという重大な問題が存在する．したがって，生体情報が漏洩した場合であっても絶対になりすましができないような生体認証が強く望まれる．本論文では，生体の反射の個人差を使用した認証方式を提案する．生体反射は人間が自分で制御することのできない生体情報であり，これが不正者に明らかになったとしても，不正者が本人になりすますことは困難であると考えられる．ここでは，生体反射型認証のプロトタイプである人間の盲点位置とサッカード反応時間を用いた認証システムを構築し，その基礎実験から提案方式の可能性を示す．

Recently, user authentication using biometrics has been brought to attention. Authentication based on “who he/she is” can be achieved with biometrics. However, biometrics information could be easily leaked and/or copied. Therefore, biometrics authentication in which biometric information is not required to be secret is desirable. This paper proposes a user authentication using a human reflex response. It is expected that even if people know somebody’s reflex characteristics, it is difficult for anybody to impersonate the somebody, since nobody will basically not able to control his/her own reflex. Here, in this paper, a user authentication using blind spot and saccade response is shown as a prototype system of reflexresponse-based authentication and its availability is studied.
