Description
type:論文(Article)
The objective of this study was to clarify the effect of a combination of adequate positioning and range of motion training on the improvement of joint stiffness in elderly patients more than 3 years after the onset of sequelae following cerebrovascular events. Problems in positioning were extracted from 5 patients who gave consent, and positioning by selecting an appropriate pillow to support the position was performed. Regarding range of motion training, the frequency was increased from once to twice a day. The degree of joint stiffness was assessed based on the angle of the range of motion. The range of motion was expanded after 25 days, suggesting that such a combination of adequate positioning and range of motion training improves joint stiffness.
