本稿では特に、英語の草創期である古英語(以下OEと略記する)時代[およそ西暦450年から1100年頃]におけるOEとﾃﾞｰﾝ人・ﾉﾙｳｪｰ人ｳﾞｧｲｷﾝｸﾞの言語「古ﾉﾙﾄﾞ語(Old Norse:ONと略記)」との接触について考えていくことにする。

This paper claims that a "dynamic" perspective to the contact between Old English and Old Norse should be created instead of the superficial and formalistic view with which for a long time the history of the English language has been taught to us.
