Description

The JUNET is one of the most valuable computer network system in the university and research environments of Japan. At January of 1992, about 600 organizations including universities, colleges and private enterprise were connected by mainly UUCP protocols. We participated in the JUNET to use for research work and education. In this paper we report a process and setting for the connection to the JUNET. The connecting procedure using the UUCP and the implementation of a mail or news system are described in detail for the purpose of reference.
