The purpose of this research is to examine whether readiness for parenthood ability can be acquired by Childcare learning of high school home economics education. We examined the home economics syllabuses of 96 schools in Osaka. There were 124 classes where Childcare learning was conducted, and 66 did not include experiential activities in 2017. We extracted two schools of different learning style and conducted questionnaires to students before and after class. Childcare learning in high school was effective in readiness for parenthood. Visits to nursery schools up to junior high school students had positive influences on readiness for parenthood.
