The purpose of this paper is to discuss about the attitude to the using Sign Language by the mothers of deaf children. It can be said that deaf children and their families have major difficulties communicating. To solve the difficulties, there are two education methods in deaf education: the oral deaf education and the Sign Language method. Oral deaf education has progressed over the years. This method is affected the educational administration and healthcare technologies: the hearing instruments, universal neonatal hearing screening and the cochlear implants. The Sign Language method has been influenced from the Deaf culture. Both the oral deaf educations and the Sign Language method have progressed. For deaf children and their family, to select the education is the main challenge. I conducted interviews with the mothers of deaf children to clarify how they feel about using Sign Language.
