The　molecular　weights　of　3　identical　major　and　1　minor　γ3　globulin　subunits　weredetermined　to　be　35,000　and　13,000　daltons　respectively　by　gel　filtration　chromatographyin　6　M　guanidine　hydrochloride　as　well　as　by　sodium　dodecyl　sulfate-polyacrylamide gel　electrophoresis.　The　major　subunit　component,　eluted　at　38　ml,　was　separated from　the　minor　subunit　component　at　51　ml　by　gel　filtration　chromatography.　The amino　acid　composition　of　the　major　subunit　component　was　compared　with　that　of the　minor　subunit　component.　Thr　and　Gly　contents　in　the　major　subunit　component were　higher　than　those　in　the　minor　subunit　component.　In　contrast,　Ala,　Val,　and Lys　contents　in　the　major　subunit　component　were　lower.
