Description
type:Departmental Bulletin Paper
This research examines the issue of creating lessons that consider the characteristics of ADHD in ordinary elementary school classes. The aim is to examine the implementation of lessons that focus on the following four points: 1. giving prospects to students, 2. giving motives to the class, 3. incorporating teachers' ideas for progressing the lesson, and 4. allowing students to express themselves. After implementing three lessons, it is clear that the above four points had an effect. Lessons that implement these points are "lessons that are easy to understand and interesting." Creating such lessons do not only have an effect on children with ADHD, but also encourage understanding among the other students. Also, as carefully crafted teaching methods spread, in order to heighten the effects of this technique, it would be beneficial for schools to make structural improvements that incorporate team teaching as a way to lower the burden on teachers. It is also important to create forward-looking classes that grasp the educational needs of each and every student.
