Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to verify and consider how the teacher-training should take place at the college level. The survey was conducted on some alumni teaching at public elementary schools. The analysis of qualifications and abilities of teaching indicated 3 tendencies: 1) they treat children with passion and their educational activities are motivated by a sense of responsibility 2) they had weaknesses on research of teaching materials, preparation for learning and group leadership 3) they had good interpersonal skills, but some of them have a bit of homework to do on gaining basic knowledge living as members of society. This was positioned as the preliminary findings for the future study.
