Summary : This study was analyzed about proper evaluation of the assist play on 224 games of the wemen Japan basketball league in 2005. The results may be summarized as follows;　1. The value to evaluate general assisit can't be evaluated properly but, before calculating the numerical value of the assist including the various element, it was showed that the real number which becomes fundamental numerial value and the object of the comparison and the assist rate from the turnover play can analyze the degree of contribution to the offense.　2. It was showed to be effective that the assist power which put the technology of shooter and assist player, the value to evaluate the assist that a shot failuer and turnover play, were counted properly.
