Description
Recently, forests and green are disappearing, and that causes serious environmental problems in the world wide scale. In these situations, the sustenance ratio of lumbers in Japan remains only 30 percent. The structure that foreign lumbers are imported at lower price and in large scale is still in existence, as it was before. The forests, afforested after World War II. are growing steadiy: nevertheless, much part of woods are left from cutting because of hanging lower level, leaving of forest owners from forestry, and remarkble decrease of lumber processors and forestry workers. In these situations, which type of subject could be defined as regional capital of forestry? From this point of view, the author has studied on regional capital. On the result, the author got the following conclusion: in the present stage, the most appropriate way is to define the cutting-carrying contractor as the regional capital.
