説明

This paper analyzes the students' attitude to the use of the honorific expressions, their actual usage of pronounce for a teacher and the changes in their usage corresponding to the developmental stages of the students. For these purposes the author gathered data by compositions that were written to teachers by the students of different age groups. The entire data was gathered from elementary, junior and senior high school students in Niigata city and its surrounding areas. Based on the obtained data, the actual figure of honorific expression by students is considered.
