Description

As the 2003 (the first) recepient of the award for good teaching, I herein report how things go in my class of biology in general educational course. This article, however, does not simply end up with the description of my way of teaching. In view of the indifference of a given teacher to educating skills of others, I first emphasize "the greatest common measure" in desiging lessons among different fields of subjects. As a good example of such "common measure", disign of my lesson is compared with that of lesson of mathematics that is summarized by Dr. H. Akiyama (Tokai University). The effectiveness of my lessons will be shown by quoting students' impressions that were collected over a couple of years. I hope that this article would help teachers to disign his or her class irrespective of working fields.
