Description

The equations of motion for a seed of yam (Dioscorea japonica Thunberg) are made, and the aeronautical movement of seeds of yam is investigated by means of numerical calculation. The aeronautical movement is generally different from each other, and the seeds are carried down extensively on the wind. This is one of the reasons why yams grow well in spite of natural selection.
