Abstract

被覆網の敷設によるアサリの生残率向上効果を確認するため，多良川及び糸岐川河口干潟において被覆網区と対照区を設け，その後の生息密度及び生息重量を比較した。試験開始から約7ヶ月後，被覆網区は対照区に対して生息密度で3.6～3.7倍，生息重量で約4.0～7.0倍となり，エイ類による食害や台風による散逸による生息密度の減少を緩和できたと考えられた。
