1)1955年2月から12月まで,ミミズ,魚,カエル,ヘビ,ヒナ,ネズミ及びテンジクネズミの7種,433頭の小動物の死体を研究所の中庭の日向とこれに続く草むらの中と,農村の山林内でハエに曝し,これらから発生するハエ類の種類と数を調べた.2)供試動物屍数の86.6%から蛆が,ハエの発生した屍数の93.1%からハエが,又,14.1%から寄生蜂が夫々羽化した.3)349頭の小動物屍から羽化してきたハエの総数は25種49642個体で,ツシマニクバエ,S. caudagalli,及びクロニクバエは動物屍特有の発生種
