Abstract
AIDA (Analysis of Interconnected Decision Areas) means the former two modes of SCA (Strategic Choice Approach) which consists of the four modes, i.e.; Analysis, Constitution, Comparrison and Choice modes. The later two modes of SCA cannot estimate priority rankings of all the alternative plans quantitatively. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) can evaluate priority rankings among maximum 9 alternative plans quantitatively. Therefore, in order to estimate the priority rankings among a large amount of the alternative plans quantitatively, by according to adopt Inner Dependence Method as a modified AHP and Absolute Measurement Method, AIDA-AHP coupling model was proposed as one of reasonable planning procedures. On the other hand, re-organized planning of public traffic system in depopulation areas is still very serious issues in Japan. Therefore, the proposed AIDA-AHP coupling model was applied to Shimabara peninsula, Nagasaki prefecture, Japan as a typical depopulation area in Kyushu island, Japan. One of the aims of this study is to verify the efficiency of the proposed model and another aim is a proposal of the re-organized optimal planning of the public traffic system in Shimabara peninsula, taking the results of the proposed model into account.
