Description

In this paper, I explores the development of "fingerprint novels" in Japan and consider the correspondence between the development and the discourse of practical books and commentaries on fingerprints in Japan. Through this study, I argue that the recognition of fingerprints has developed in such a way that it hides the fictionality of fingerprints.
