This is about consideration of "ba" construction in Chinese, which has several of predicative methods, from event structure of cognitive linguistics. As a result of the consideration, there are two principa1 elements. Initially, all of "ba" constructions have objective conditions as Y' can be existed as resulted from the action of the subject X. In addition, predicate VC in syntactic structures can be integrated into event structures as "Oject Y varies Y' with action of X", and a1so some parts of "ba" construction, which has been regarded as peripheral members without manifestation of Y',can be accepted as well. Secondarily, Y' is the assumption element for birth of “ba" constructions that it cou1d say that the core of syntactic structure is predicate C as corresponds to Y'. Furthermore, by prominence of Y' that lets pictures recognize as structure of “Foreground-Background" can be motivationa1 factor for using “ba" constructions.
